Michael Heffernan and MCMA’s curator, Madeline Beck, will present a sit-down Artist Talk in the Mezzanine Galleries on Sunday, February 26 at 2:00 pm. Join MCMA for this free and open-to-the public educational event, which will dive deeper into the exhibiting artist’s personal story and body of work.

On Saturday, March 11 from 2-4pm in the Main Galleries, MCMA presents a free and open to the public Panel Discussion with Spalding Nix, Cynthia Knapp, Marianne Weinberg-Benson, and Chris Little, which will be moderated by MCMA’s curator, Madeline Beck.
Three artists from MCMA’s permanent collection, all whose work is currently on exhibit, will discuss their personal paths and art careers, their experience working with galleries and collectors, and getting their work into museum permanent collections. Spalding Nix and Madeline Beck will complement this discussion with their institutional knowledge on the subject from the points of view as a gallerist and curator.
