Explore the elements and principles of design through abstract acrylic painting. Students will be introduced to design process and workflows in order to produce 6 abstract acrylic paintings. This class is suitable for adults and youth ages 13 +.

Brushes-multiple size flats and rounds at least 1 one inch brush
1 pallet knife
2 water containers
mixing surface(pallette)
paint rags or paper towels
Liquitex Basic Paint(or similar, you may bring other colors if you have them)-
white
black(ivory or mars)
quinacridone magenta
pthalo(pthalocyanine) blue
Primary yellow
8+ acrylic primed canvases or primed canvas boards approximately 9x12in in size
Sketchbook
