Learn to draw from the comfort of home! We’ll cover the basic principles of using graphite and charcoal with fun lessons tailored for each group’s skill level. Students get a tote bag, all the required drawing supplies, and access to live online classes taught by Allison, the MCMA Director of Education. (Lessons will also be recorded so that students can make up a missed class at their leisure.)

Supplies must be picked up from MCMA during the week before class. Each group is limited to 4 students.

Concepts: Line, shape, space, value, light and shadow, and perspective. These basics are the starting point for any creative journey.
Lessons: Week 1 – Brain Warm-Ups  /  Week 2: Shadows and Value  /  Week 3: Perspective
