About Melanie
Melanie Ponchot is an experienced gallery artist, portrait painter, and illustrator working in Roswell, Georgia. Her art roots are in Contemporary Realism after cultivating a “classical” ability to draw/see/paint. Her career began as a gallery artist and professional portrait painter having completed over 90 commissioned portraits for clients across the Southeast. Currently the majority of her work is in the field of illustration.
Melanie has taught Beginning and Advanced Drawing, Color Theory, Life-Drawing, Illustration, and Portfolio Development for the last several years.
