“It is so exciting to have one’s work recognized in this way. None of this would have been
possible without the creativity, filming, and direction by Brandon Peterson, BP40 Creative. We
have forged a wonderful collaborative relationship and are excited about new works at the
planning stages. Brandon was able to capture the essence of “wayfinding” Exhibition, making an
intimate film that has achieved outstanding results. As a visual artist, it is often difficult to
express in words what the work is about, the film helped overcome that. “wayfinding” is an
exhibition of works in painting and poetry created during the pandemic years and continues in
exploration and gateway to new creativity in painting and writing. Launched in January 7, 2023
in a sole exhibition that ran through March 12th at the Marietta Cobb Museum of Art,
https://mariettacobbartmuseum.org/michael-heffernan/ the exhibition, with additional new
works, will open at The Quinlan Center for Visual Arts, Gainesville, GA, opening June 15,
through August 12, 2023”. https://www.quinlanartscenter.org/exhibitions.html
Today’s winners announcement caps a year-long celebration of creators and talent who truly
stand out during a time when the ubiquity of screens brings more clutter than quality into our
lives. These are the creators and innovators who spotlight diverse voices, who are building a
more sustainable industry, and who break through the static with their creativity.
In function of this, a series of new categories were introduced to reflect and celebrate ways in
which video is being used as a force for good and the ways in which emerging technologies are
pushing the boundaries of innovation. New categories this season included Virtual Art Direction,
Use of Motion Capture, and Digital Environments alongside new honors in Pro Bono, CSR, and
Video Journalism to celebrate ethical, philanthropic, and educational work.
This was a record breaking year with nearly 13,000 entries from across the globe and top video
and television content producers such as Airbnb, Audible, BET Networks/BET Digital, BritBox,
