MCMA offers a variety of workshops throughout the year.
Workshops are an excellent way to engage with members of the art community and create amazing pieces that can given as gifts or enjoyed in your collection.
Online pre-registration is strongly encouraged. A $5 fee will be applied for all walk up participants (pending availability).
Valentine’s Day Card Printmaking Workshop
Create handmade Valentine’s Day cards for your loved ones with MCMA! Participants will learn how to carve a 4″x6″ block with a design of their choice, allowing them to print multiple cards for family, friends, and significant others! Ages 13 and up.

Pastel Drawing Workshop
Explore a more gestural, loose, and fast way to draw with pastels. In this beginner friendly workshop, you will learn about the power of underpainting with vibrant colors and how to choose colors to complete a glorious pastel drawing.

Stained Glass Suncatcher Workshop
In this class, we will learn all the steps to make your very own stained glass suncatcher, including cutting, grinding, foiling and soldering. You’ll be able to choose from available designs, costumize your glass colors, and go home with the finished product! No experience needed and all supplies will be provided.

Teen Printmaking Patches Workshop
Carve and Print your own patches! Sew them on clothing to personalize and upcycle bags, denim jackets and more. Bring your own fabric to print directly on your clothing!
Teens will be given a 4″x6″ block to carve and print as well as the opportunity to swap prints with their peers and their instructor to personalize any fabric of their choice.
Price: $65/$70 for walk-ups
