MCMA offers a variety of workshops throughout the year.
Workshops are an excellent way to engage with members of the art community and create amazing pieces that can given as gifts or enjoyed in your collection.

Fall Thrown Vessel Workshop
Join us for some seasonal fun at MCMA! Students will throw, trim, and sculpt a fall vessel over the course of 2 days. Students MUST have previous experience with wheel pottery to attend this workshop. For ages 13 and up.
Dates & Time: Sundays, September 7 & 14, 2025 – 11:00am – 1:00pm
Price: $120 – All materials and tools are included.

Fall Slab Pumpkin Workshop
Join us for some seasonal fun at MCMA! Students will use the slab roller, cookie cutters, and hand sculpting techniques to make a three pumpkin tea light candleholder for the fall season. This workshop is beginner friendly.
For ages 7 and up. All students under 13 MUST be accompanied by an adult. If the accompanying adult plans on participating in the project, they will need to purchase an additional ticket for themselves.
Instruction time will be from 11:00am – 1:00pm. At 1:00pm, students will take an hour long break, and return to the workshop at 2:00pm. Instruction will continue from 2:00pm – 3:00pm.
Date & Time: Saturday, September 13, 2025 – 11:00am – 3:00pm
Price: $60 – All materials and tools are included.

Glass Pendant Workshop
Join us for a beginner friendly workshop where you’ll create your own unique fused glass pendants! During this 3-hour session, you’ll design up to five custom pieces using a colorful assortment of scrap glass. You’ll also have the opportunity to add hardware to a pre-fired pendant to take home the same day. Your handmade creations will be kiln-fired and ready for pickup the following week. For ages 15 and up.
*Students are able to make additional glass pendants for $10 each.
