MCMA offers a variety of workshops throughout the year.
Workshops are an excellent way to engage with members of the art community and create amazing pieces that can given as gifts or enjoyed in your collection.
Join our Guardian and Youth Wheel Throwing Workshop, a unique opportunity tailored for children aged 7 to 12 and their guardians. This two-day workshop is specifically designed as a “team” class with the adult and the youth working on the same pottery wheel while exploring the basic techniques of wheel throwing.
September 8 & 15, 2024 4:30 pm – 6:30 pm
Come spend a day with us in a hands-on workshop where you’ll craft your own one-of-a-kind fused glass pendants. In this 3-hour session, you’ll design up to five unique pieces using a variety of vibrant scrap glass. You’ll also get a chance to attach hardware to a pre-fired pendant, which you can take home at the end of the workshop. Your pendants will be kiln-fired and ready for pick up the following week.
