Volunteering at the Marietta Cobb Museum of Art is a great way to get involved in the vibrant Marietta arts scene and give back to your community! Our dedicated volunteers help the Museum thrive and allow us to continue our mission of building community through art. With a wide range of volunteer opportunities, there is something for everyone. Volunteer positions include Admissions Desk Volunteer, Special Events Volunteer, Outreach Volunteer, MCMA Intern, Art Camp Assistant, Chalktoberfest Volunteer, and much more!
If you are interested in volunteering at the admissions desk, or at special events including exhibition opening receptions, Art of the Cocktail events, and more, please complete the MCMA Volunteer Interest Form.
MCMA offers competitive unpaid internships for academic credit for undergraduate students. Interns will gain practical, hands-on experience with the inner mechanisms of an art museum and its varied collection. Students take priority, but MCMA also offers unpaid internships for those not currently enrolled in school. Prospective interns should complete the MCMA Internship Interest Form and email completed form.
Each year MCMA is proud to bring Chalktoberfest, Georgia’s largest chalk art festival, to the Marietta Square. Chalktoberfest is the Museum’s largest fundraiser, and helps support MCMA and our mission. Hundreds of community members volunteer their time and talents to help make this beloved festival a great experience every year! If you are interested in volunteering at Chalktoberfest, please email us.
