
The Faces of the MCMA Permanent Collection
The Marietta Cobb Museum of Art presents The Faces of the MCMA Permanent Collection from April 5 until June 8, 2025 in the Mezzanine Galleries.
Sourced from the MCMA’s permanent collection of over 600 pieces of art dating back to the 1700s, this exhibition explores a history of American portraiture over hundreds of years. This selection highlights a diverse range of style and context in portraiture, offering insight into the artists, their techniques, and their subjects. On display are pieces of art by renowned artists like Wayman Adams, Robert Henri, Cuong Nguyen, Steve Penley, Yvonne Randall, and more. From traditional to contemporary, the exhibited works reflect the evolving nature of portrait creation and its role in capturing identity and preserving legacy.

Free for MCMA members and $10 for guests—admission paid upon entry. Cash bar and hors d’oeuvres served. Membership can be purchased at the event.
