Sunday Art School
Join us on Sundays as students discover new art mediums in a fun environment! This five-week course is a great fit for homeschooled students or any child wanting to explore the fundamentals of art. Students will learn techniques in areas such as drawing, painting, printmaking, and mixed media. In each session, we will explore a new side of art history along with a new medium.
This class is intended for ages 7-12. All supplies are included.
Cost: $165 for Members, $185 for Not-Yet Members

Meet the Instructor
Ashley Livingston
Ashley Livingston is an oil painter and printmaker from Alabama. She graduated from the University of Alabama with a Bachelor of Fine Arts, concentrating in Painting and Printmaking. Her oil paintings often focus on endangered animals, and she aims to create work that spurs conversation about community and cultivating harmonious relationships with nature.
She is currently teaching the museum’s youth programs: MCMA Art Camps, Preschool Art, Sunday Art School, Teen Media, and Special Needs Art Enrichment. As well as adult classes for Printmaking and Oil painting.
